Leapchat CSR Initiative for climate change. LC-AI Chatbot

The negative impact of climate change is clearly affecting lives of millions of people everyday.

In response to Derna flooding crisis, Leapchat AI collaborated with local NGO and launched AI chatbot to support people find their missing loved ones. Using WhatsApp as a communication channel, the AI estimates and match information based on database, the AI allows people to add & search for missing persons matched with name, age, location, contacts.

As entrepreneurs around the globe continue to provide climate solutions to tackle the climate crisis. Leapchat AI integrated climate finance opportunities to support entrepreneurs using personalized AI to bridge gap between climate change solutions and funding opportunities

In the months following Derna flooding crisis in 2023, Leapchat AI collaborated with UN experts to help scale LC-AI chatbot beyond pilot phase and to support in new phase of R&D and product development and to open source the project to benefit the global community for better humanitarian response.

The LC-AI chatbot's sub-feature AI4flood deployed to support the recent floods in Ghat, Tahala Acacus Mountains & Sabha, South of Libya during August-September 2024.

This project aims to improve AI4Flood in collaboration with UNDP experts and LAIN Innovation Network.

COP28 Digital Assistant

On road up to cop28, Leapchat AI launched a special AI chatbot that helps users access to up-to-date public information about event. Users can find all they need from registration to locations and side events.
